Common Good Coffee Roasters was preparing to get their coffee on grocery store shelves and were in need of a box design and label to put their coffee in.
Creative Brief
We met and established the look and feel that the client wanted to go for. Gathered references and mocked up initial versions for the box.
Round 1
I presented the client 3 mockups for the first round based off of our discovery meeting. The 3 categories were Sophisticated, Sophisticated/Approachable, & Approachable/Soft.
Round 2-4
The client wanted to go with a darker background and go lighter on the rounded softness of the design. Revising on the previous designs we worked through a couple more rounds, meeting to review after each.
Final Design
We settled on two final versions of box design, one for generic coffee products and one specialized box with a partner company's branding.
